“It was a great home away from home. We were there a week for a wedding with all wedding guests staying there. I highly recommend it. Quiet, comfortable, 1 BR with king size bed, hide-a-bed in LR, full furnished kitchen, full size fridge and microwave, 2 burner stove, and small dishwasher. Great value”

“Because of some of the reviews I read, I booked this room with low expectations, which was okay with me. I just wanted a place to cook myself a meal and recharge, because I'm in between housing right now. I got a really good rate by booking through Super (2 nights for $148) Maybe I just got lucky, but the room I got exceeded my low expectations. The bathroom has a comfortable design and the kitchenette had everything I needed (minus a few essential utensils, which I got from the nearby Dollar Tree) There's a dishwasher, microwave, electric stove (2 burners) and fridge. There's also a single-cup coffee maker. Included is one complimentary coffee packet specifically made for it. I'm sure you can ask for more, but I'm not sure if they charge. I just ended up getting cold brew cappuccino at Safeway. After sleeping on a bare mattress at my neighbors the last few weeks, the bed was a nice change. I brought my own blankets to elevate the comfort. The TV was in a weird spot, to the left of the bed. But to my delight, it has a swivel! So you can turn and adjust it as needed. Played some Nintendo Switch on it, and the free cable offers core channels like Comedy Central, sports, news, and Cartoon Network. The AC below the window worked, but the wifi did not. They lose a star for that one, because I wanted to update my Nintendo and play online and also couldn't log in to Netflix on the TV This location has everything you will need. Being a pet-friendly hotel, PetSmart is just down the street. So you can easily accommodate any of your fur pal's needs. Safeway is in the next shopping center over from PetSmart, but if you're a Trader Joe's junkie like me, the Pruneyard is less than 2 miles away. Any additional utensils or kitchen tools you may need can be found at the Dollar Tree that's also less than 2 miles away. I got a strainer, wood spatula, cutting mat, and a sharper chef knife for like 6 bucks! They also have tons of beverages and snacks to stock up your room. I did not include service in my review because I'm the anti-social type that just wants to be left alone with minimal interactions. I was thrilled when I discovered my room was all the way at the end of the hall next to the stairwell. I left my do not disturb hanger on my door the entire 2 nights I stayed and did not get bothered once. However, my doorcard stopped working for some reason, and the receptionist on duty immediately fixed it, so thank you. They also did not bother me about taking my BMX bike with me to my room. It's pretty valuable, so locking it outside was out of the question. There is a $150 security deposit, which the receptionist I checked in with said would be refunded within 5 days. I got my deposit back a few hours after checkout! Would have been nice to know that instead of worrying if I'll make it to next payday, but nothing to complain about. All in all, Larkspur Landing feels like a suite style hotel with motel rates. If you have high expectations, than maybe you're better off booking with The Hyatt. I did not see one pest during my stay, didn't notice any weird smells, and my room was clean upon entry. The fact that they allow pets is a big plus, especially with PetSmart being so close. Who cares about the breakfast being shut down, do what I did and put that kitchenette to use! You won't even have to leave your room! Thank you for a pleasant stay in a pretty nice room, Larkspur Landing. I didn't want to leave! Hopefully I will get re-housed soon, but if I need a place to recharge again, this will be it!”
